Namu Amida-butsu
It is with great sadness that we write to inform you that Professor John White passed away very peacefully at 1:30pm on 6th November 2021.
Following his recent hospitalisation John spent the remaining days of his life at living at Three Wheels, enjoying precious time with the Sangha and quietly working at his desk.
The service will be held at Three Wheels at 11am on Friday 3rd December, and will also be streamed live on Zoom for anyone who cannot attend in person. If attending in person please ensure to arrive in a timely manner so as not to disrupt the ceremony.
Safety precautions
If you intend to join the funeral in person, we would politely ask that you please wear a mask at the event and ideally take a lateral flow Covid test before attending. It is important that we protect one another and our honourable guests from Shogyoji and other organisations.
